Hybrid Road Seminars

Hybrid Road Seminars
The components

New training direction, the road seminar.
If we are to get out the word about our UDHEV classes, we need to get out and do some smaller seminars. What to bring or not bring needs to be worked out. Here are some possible starting points, A jack up camper, A table full of demos, An Insight on a stand, Sparkie the robot.

The roadshow trailer takes shape
In preparation for the May 1 UDHEV class, I decided it was time to get my training and demo components so I could transport them, and to also serve as a storage container for the many parts. I will use this equipment at energy fairs and for mobile hybrid training, so I wanted to include some solar demonstration equipment. The roof is made with clear lexan, and the roof can lift, so plenty of light can get into the trailer, which will act as a solar collector, and allow solar panels to be setup. Still a lot of work to do, and some beefing up of the suspension will help with weight distribution, as the Hybrid on the stand weighs ~ 750 lbs alone, and with the MG1 crank demo and prius battery pack is nearly at the max weight capacity for the axles.
