Software MIMA OSV1.5.0 and later versions has a joystick calibration that must be completed before you can use the MIMA system. Please read the FAQ and operation sections of this site to learn how that is done. The MIMA base unit or controller can be though of as a resident custom data acquisition subsystem, with digital and relay I/O for a manual and automatic control of the electric drive. It presently operates running an assembly language control program in the resident Microchip PIC 18F452 microcontroller. Another part of the MIMA development team is working on a C based version of the control program which will allow expansion to a PC interface. The MIMA card in this configuration will act as a resident controller, and will allow full control by the external PC. When the PC is disconnected, the MIMA card reverts back to a self contained system. When available, The latest code will be available for download here.
