Hobbit bought a Prius back in early 2005,and has been studying it and other vehicle propulsion and efficiency topics with great intensity ever since.
In the process, he has become an information resource on the cars, contributing all of his discoveries, modifications, and research back to the enthusiast community.
He brings a consumer-viewpoint wisdom into the technical training environment, and provides information from broad overviews to deep engineering detail.

Design and build manufacturing equipment including plastic extruding, thermoforming, fusing, cutting equipment. Hydraulic, Pneumatic equipment. Welding equipment, including micro spot welding, laser welding. The laser welder used two CO2 lasers to weld .001" thick stainless steel foil .
Designed and built. Environmental water sampling drilling machine, mounted to a 6 wheel ATV.
Designed and built Polyscan Medical scanners . Machine did Thyroid and Bone Mineral Density scans. After the design phase, I became the Vice president and technical director of the company.
